Wednesday, February 2, 7:30-8:30pm – Worship sharing *new*. Everyone is welcome to attend this worship sharing group. This month Barb Everdene will be leading and offering a topic, as she has previously. In the future M&C has proposed that we have a variety of people, including Barb and M&C members, leading the Worship Sharing on the first Wednesday of each month.
Thursday, February 3, @ 7:30pm – IBCMM Parent’s Group on Zoom.
Saturday, February 5, 9:30-11am – Beloved Community retreat completion. This will be the first of two Saturday Zoom events (the next will be March 12th) where we complete the exercises begun in the fall retreat drawn from Ben Pink Dandelion’s Swathmore Lecture.
Sunday, February 6 @ 10am – Meeting for Worship on Zoom. With regret it has been decided that we will forgo this month’s in person gathering due to Covid. This decision will be revisited at February’s business meeting with regards to March. Meeting will open at 10 and last one hour, if you prefer a shorter online time, you may join later. There will be time for sharing following the time of worship.
Sunday, February 6, 7-8:30(ish) – Quaker Movie Night *new*. Donna Henningson has offered to host a BYOP movie night (that’s Bring Your Own Popcorn). She will screen the Swathmore lecture by Ben Pink Dandelion (that we have been using for our retreat and the two upcoming follow-ups) in segments and then invite discussion amongst those attending. This is hoped to be only the first of these events.

Sunday, February 26 @ 10:30am – Friendly Exploration on the Administration of CYM — Who gets to decide? This Zoom gathering will speak to last fall’s process around the re-organization of the staffing of the CYM office and likely touch on the broader issues around the sustainability of CYM. CAST (the Change and Sustainable Transformation) is the working group that has been tasked with examining the issue of a sustainable CYM and they will be facilitating this event. See the link below regarding business document access if you wish some background on these matters, all attenders and members can gain access.
