Sunday, October 1 – World Quaker Day
10am – Meeting for Worship with Kyiv Meeting
In recognition of World Quaker Day, and the Week of Global Mobilization for an End to the War in Ukraine, Friends are encouraged to join the online Meeting for Worship of Kyiv Meeting.
11:10am – IBCMM Sharing time – Online
After Meeting for Worship with Kyiv Meeting, we will gather on our own IBCMM zoom link for a sharing time.
Wednesday, October 4
7pm – Worship Sharing – Online
Graeme Hope will host this session on the theme of this year’s World Quaker Day: “Living the Spirit of Ubuntu.”
Friday, October 6 – Monday October 9
Western Half Yearly Meeting – In-Person and Online
The fall gathering of WHYM will be held in-person at Camp Kannawin on the shores of Sylvan Lake in Alberta. It will be a hybrid gathering, so Friends can also join online.
Sunday, October 8
10am – Meeting for Worship in Kelowna – In-Person
In-person worship will be held at the John Howard Society building in Kelowna. Meeting will begin at 10 and there will be a Friend at the door to facilitate entry.
TBD – Meeting for Worship with WHYM – In-Person and Online
Friends who wish to worship online are welcome to join the hybrid WHYM Meeting for Worship. A link will be circulated by email when it becomes available. Of course, our own IBCMM link is also available for Friends to gather in worship on this date.

4:30pm – CYM Sharing Our News – Online
All are invited to attend this session, in which representatives from Meetings across Canada will share news of activities in their communities. A link will be circulated by email when it becomes available.

The meeting will start at 10 and last for one hour. There will be time for sharing following the time of worship.

The meeting will start at 10 and last for one hour. There will be time for sharing following the time of worship.

10am – Meeting for Worship – Online
Meeting will open at 10 and last for 45 minutes, followed by a 15-minute break. There will not be a sharing time.
11am – Meeting for Worship for Business – Online
